Type & Politics Poll Introduction E-mail

The Type & Politics Poll was a poll of participants who were knowledgeable of Carl Jung's theory of psychological types and the MBTI.  The poll asked participants to respond to questions about various political orientations and opinions.  The purpose of the poll was to provide insights into the relationships between personality and political orientations.

The first rounds of the poll were conducted during the first full week of November 2007, February 2008, May 2008, and August 2008. The final round of the Poll was conducted during the week prior to the November 2008 U.S. presidential elections. Results and discussion for the various  rounds of the Poll can be found by clicking on the links in the left menu.  The first link for each poll presents the basic reponses to the survey for that period (frequency distributions and type tables).  The second link for each round of the poll presents statistical analyses of the data from that round and a discussion of the results of these analyses.

More information about the poll can be found here.
