A few respondents to the Type & Politics Poll reported that some pages of their survey already had an answer showing. Ideally, this event should not have happened (unless someone was returning to the survey or more than one person was using the same computer to enter responses).

I checked with the software vendor and found out that the software version I have installed for this round of the survey does have a bug that will sometimes show a completed answer. This bug has been fixed in the new version of the software.

I will install the new version of the software for the next round (February) of the poll, but am going to continue with the current software version so as not to risk losing responses to date.

Thus, if you encounter a page in your survey which shows an answer, simply change it to your own response.
